Good but too many drawbacks
David Spring | April 6, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
Cruise started 11th. May. We were late leaving Southampton due to engine problems. Captain said these would be fixed before departure. They were not and so a slow start to the cruise and first port of call Cadiz abandoned. Vigo was substituted but arrival was so late that leaving ship was pointless. From a previous review we now know that the engine problem ruined the previous cruise and had not been fixed. This straight after coming out of refit!!! We then got back on schedule and things improved.
However the ever increasing service charge, the very expensive WiFi, the onboard shops not being duty free competitive , and so called health advisory session being a front for selling expensive treatments all leave a sour taste. Definitely P&O standards are slipping and we will certainly consider alternative operators
