Lovely cruise as ever
Martin Axon | January 20, 2020 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
Been on several of these short New Year cruises with P&O (and 20 plus cruises in total with them), they are a nice boost to the post Christmas blues.
Embarkation seems to get swifter each time we go, we were on in 15 minutes and cabins ready with luggage waiting for us.
Nice to see familiar staff faces and to be remembered.
Excellent Dance Intructors made the evenings fun such that we only did one of the shows.
Food was fine, although the same menu cycles have been in use now for some years. Portion sizes were variable which we noticed when we were on a nice table & company for eight on New Years Eve, but if you wanted more you only had to ask.
Ports of call the same as previous years, Hamburg fireworks are something else. Maybe P&O could look at new ports of call for a change, perhaps down to Northern Spain & France?
Roll on Britannia in May and the Med.
