Lovely Route, Great Service but why so many miserable people
Richard | January 19, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
This is was our third cruise with P&O and from a service aspect we were delighted. There have been a few changes since our last holiday such as the removal of silver service but hey, bar prices haven’t changed and the wine packages offer excellent value. The staff were attentive and as ever the kids club team were hugely appreciated by the children.
The most noticable difference to our previous cruises was the general atmosphere of the cruise. I know P&O do themed cruises but we must have missed this one being the ‘Whinging Long Term Cruisers’ special. It was significantly more evident in the first of our 2 weeks which was the non-school holiday week but we cannot understand why these people come on holiday just to moan and spend as little as possible. Call me Mr Jolly, but I thought holidays were about relaxing, having fun and generally revitalising the soul.
We will try cruising again but if this becomes the norm we will certainly be looking at different options.
