P&O

We have just returned from our first cruise with P&O we normally cruise with Celebrity Cruise line but thought we would try another ship. Big mistake!!!!!!! never again will we cruise with P&O. On arrival after the 10.30 am (advised time to arrive)! we were sent to another car park where we had to pay to park, as we were told they were running late, they told us that someone would come and get us as soon as possible, after an hour another couple went to check why we were all still waiting, only to find that they had forgotten about us. After boarding it went from bad to worse, there was only one choice of vegetarian option daily which was awful, the food was that poor that we could not eat it, the buffet was all the same food, very small and limited and was closed more often than open. Our suite was ok as was the breakfast restaurant for suite guests, there were stag and Hen parties on board, not a family ship!!!! The ship it’s self was dirty, tiered with several broken items of furnishings. The staff were not the polite staff that work on Celebrity and several smelt of BO! The tours on both days did not pick people up at the correct time or location, There was a Bruno Mars tribute on one evening who was fantastic, other than that we spent the whole time in our room or off board! I could go on! We both felt that we were miss sold this cruise and should have been warned about the standard of P&O when booking. The best part of the cruise was seeing Southampton on return. I will never complain about anything on Celebrity again as their standards are worlds apart and will never book with any other cruise line again.
