Pre Christmas holiday

Really enjoyed the cruise, the sea could have been kinder but it was the Bay of Biscay, and yes we booked at this time of year. We had a Superior deluxe balcony, are very first in 20 cruises. It was fabulous loads of room, two television, the husband could get up make a cup of tea, watch the news then go on the balcony all without disturbing me, a real advantage for early risers. Food seemed better, lots of choices, my personal view vegetables not done enough? Shows ok, not the best voices drowned out, either with a band, or other singers. We never went up to the Metropolis, just didn’t have the time or red bar, seems we are creatures of habit and have an evening routine, dine, go into the theatre to get a seat, have a drink there, show, then casino. The ship is looking tired in places and quite a few chairs damaged, but it is an incoming thing, they were changing carpets and tv’s whilst we were on the ship.
