Recent Ventura experience
Stuart Cameron | June 28, 2022 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
I have just returned from a week’s cruise on Ventura which is my first with P&O since 2018 and I was a little disappointed. I won’t vent my personal views but cruisers should be aware of the following:
1. There is no card room on Ventura. It has been converted to a children’s play machine area for which there is a charge for each type of machine. Therefore there is no quiet room in the evening for cards or board games. The small library is not suitable.
2. There is basically only a 3 course dinner in the main restaurants.
3. When you unload your car you have to take the cases yourself to the luggage loading area.
4. It’s a family ship as advertised but I would also classify it as a ‘party’ ship.
