The best cruise yet
Tony Thompson | October 14, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
I returned on Sunday October 6th from a cruise on Ventura around the coast of Spain and Portugal. It was by far the best P&O cruise I have been on so far. The service and food were as good as ever, the entertainment as mixed as ever, the quizzes the same as ever, (same questions!), and the group of solo travellers I spent most of my time with outstanding!
I can’t comment on P&O excursions as I’ve never been on one. I’m not a sightseer and prefer instead to do my own thing.
What made this cruise so enjoyable was the solo travellers group. Since my first cruise I’ve been overwhelmed by the way P&O cater for solo cruisers with coffee mornings on sea days and tables set aside for afternoon tea every day.
People will always moan about some aspect of the cruise but I believe P&O get 90%+ right. I can’t wait for my next cruise!
