Harry and Rose Calton | April 11, 2015 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
Just returned from 3 weeks on the Ventura, out first cruise and first trip to the Caribbean, overall a wonderful experience, with excellent service throughout. The only island we did not enjoy, St.Vincent, an opinion shared by many others on the ship, with so many other beautiful destinations to choose from, maybe P&O should reconsider this one! The sun deck would have been more enjoyable if inconsiderate others had not booked sunbeds for both the shade and the sun, selfish or what, sadly although this practice was not supported by the staff, no action was taken on those who abused and spoilt it for others. Entertainment was wonderful with a great choice of shows, food fantastic, sad that Ramblas will go as a result of the refit, we considered this to be one of the nicest bars on ship.
We thought standards of dress would be smarter, did not expect to see torn and baggy jeans in the bars in the evening or shorts.
Be prepared to manage your expectations.
