Ventura Caribbean

We flew from East Midlands and check in for the flight was very smooth. We had premium seats which has priority check in. I was amazed at how easy it was. There were no queues at all. Upon arrival in Barbados we got off the aircraft and straight on to the coach. When we arrived at the port there was a slight queue but it went down in no time. We boarded the ship and were pointed in the right direction and found our cabin in no time.

We had a Superior Deluxe Balcony cabin which was amazing. Very spacious and plenty of space for clothing. Our cabin was located right next to the lift. Apart from the odd ding dong of the lift arriving it did not bother us at all.

The food onboard was fantastic and catered for all needs. The speciality restaurants on board were the White Room which charged a service charge of ?œ20pp, East which charged ?œ15pp for dinner and ?œ5pp for lunch and Las Ramblas which you could have 2 tapas for ?œ2.50pp or 3 courses for ?œ5pp. You could also dine at the Beach House on Starboard side in the evening which had an American style menu and was waiter service. This was nice as an alternative to the main restaurant or the buffet and there was no extra charge for it. We dined here twice and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We used room service for breakfast a few times and it was more than suitable. You could pre order the day before for breakfast and arrange for a designated time. Many items on room service were complimentary and selected items there was a charge for. Room service could be ordered through the interactive TV or over the phone and it came very quick.

We had a fantastic time on board the Ventura and loved the Caribbean.
