Ventura cruise 23/6/17
Steve Selby | July 17, 2017 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
Mostly good, but service standards are dropping. Weather was fantastic, the sea calm but the quality and quantity of the food is going downhill. The bigger family ships need to have a member of staff on the pool deck to manage the pool areas. Lots of teenagers bombing into the pool making swimming impossible and a mess around the pool area of plastic cups, napkins ,plates and food remnants. No one bothered to enforce rules or clean up. Dress codes not enforced. Excursions and Ship Photography far too expensive and the bar staff seem to have lost their service edge. This was my 35th cruise and it will be my last on the bigger ships. I am afraid the Ventura, Azura and Britannia are becoming more like Butlins every time i cruise.
