Winter warmer
Ian Hiller | December 14, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
Check in chaotic due to allocated boarding times being ignored by passengers. P&O must realise that people may have had long travel times to get to Southampton and need feeding, so they must get them on board earlier. Trip to the Canaries was excellent, all ports on time and Bay of Biscay OK’ish. Food wonderful and entertainment good although the latter was a bit samey. On-board photographers were very intrusive and persistent which was annoying at times. Cabin excellent and steward lovely. Far too many mobility scooters buzzing around and would have fear a Titanic situation as they tended to foul up all of the exits most of the time. Not knocking their owners but P&O should consider monitoring numbers if they are to keep the other passengers comfortable.
Particularly liked the sea days on this trip as they were needed to recharge batteries. We thought 4 Black Tie nights in 14 days was one too many. Overall a very nice holiday which we would recommend to friends.
