Worst P & O Cruise ever
Christine Berry | April 15, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
Things went from bad to worse after having to queue for more than 2 hours to board the ship. No hot water in cabin eventually moved cabins. Staff just fobbing you off. Toilets flooding or not flushing. Entertainment – too much of the same thing. Many staff new on board and being trained so service in restaurants very slow. Food poor, one of our party actually found a piece of hard plastic in his food, reported but dealt with very badly. Cleaning could have been better and wiping down handrails, doors etc only started after COVID cases had been reported. Norovirus also on board or was it Food Poisoning?
Entertainment staff good especially Amanda Young and Mark. Immigration to USA a very lengthy process and passengers were not kept informed. Certainly a cruise we will remember for missed ports (Bermuda and Key West), helicopeter and boat medical evacuations and Yacht rescues. P & O need to get their act together
