Superb experience on Mariner

Just come off Mariner’s Rome to Istanbul sailing and had a great time.

Food was outstanding, in all restaurants not just Prime 7 & Signatures. The Mariners refurbishment has worked wonders, I especially liked the Horizon Lounge & Observation Lounge. I like the size of the ship, with plenty of facilities and things going on, whilst easy to get away and find quiet spaces to relax in.

Service was outstanding, especially my steward, Ali, who was friendly, helpful and attentive. My smellier in Prime 7 recommended a fabulous red to go with my steak and really showed that she knew her stuff!

The entertainment in the theatre was brilliant. Speaking to the crew, these are new shows that have only recently been added to program. The quality of the acrobatic performances was stunning. I also enjoyed the cooking demonstration & wine tastings on board.

I love the fact I could do an incredible (and less trodden) tour of Santorini for free, and my excursion to Ephesus was organised and run by a very knowledgeable guide.

Only slight disappointment was the weather and sea conditions, which added a short-noticed unplanned day at sea, but I guess you cannot control that!

I would recommend Regent to anyone!
