We did Medieval Germany unfortunately in the rain but it did not dampen our enthusiasm for this river cruise.
Excellent cabins with staff that couldn’t do enough for you. Walking tours were really interesting & covered a lot of history.
Very picturesque & the ship was extremely comfortable & everyone was so relaxed.
I liked that we didn’t have to bother with showing our invoice to prove our booking – they just took your name & on tours there was no ‘name tags’ just a lanyard showing ‘Riviera Travel’ that held your audio guide receiver, which was charged in your room for the week.
The best thing of all though was the food! We have done quite a few cruises & this cruise I think surpassed them all! Every mouthful was bliss & plenty of choice.
Be prepared to manage your expectations.
