Cork and Norway

This was our first time on Royal Caribbean. We usually go with Princess.
The ship was clean and we had a good stateroom. Luxury balcony.
The Port lectures were useless. The lady covered three ports in about 25 minutes. There were very few pictures and over some of them there were titles – say in Bruges it said BURGES Market ! Some port had a cathedral called ….. of the Holy Blood – spelt HOLLY Blood.
She never told us if there was a road train or hop on hop off bus etc. at the port.The main picture on the screen was not sharp.
We weren’t keen on the Promenade – on deck 5 to look like a street – with pub, cafes and shops.
The ice rink and shows were terrific. Very professional skaters.
We were disappointed there was no interdenominational service on Sunday mornings.
The food was alright. The bread rolls were cold until we complained then they brought just us warm ones.
The venue for the art auctions was not ideal. A larger room without passing folk would have been better. Good auctioneer.
A pity we didn’t go into the Geiranger Fyord. No cruise log at the end. The TV screens showing our whereabouts and weather were useless. Temperature outside was forecast the previous day but on the day itself no clue what temperature was.
A good holiday overall.
