Fabulous family holiday

I have seen reviews for this particular cruise (Mediterranean Beaches 22/07/2019) in which people have expressed disappointment at the food and entertainment, however maybe I am easier to please! We had a fabulous time!

The staff were good and some were exceptional, the food was very good I thought and the entertainment provided in my opinion gave good value for money – there was something for everyone not all of it to my taste but there was something happening all day long…Our room was also surprisingly spacious and kept clean and very tidy by the cabin attendant.

The swimming pool and splash away bay are brilliant for kids and teenagers. The crazy golf was also a favourite as were the water slides.

The ship was almost full and there were loads of kids, I mean thousands! If you are adults holidaying without children and you don’t particularly enjoy the company of lots of children I would say Royal Carribean in the school holidays is not for you!

Otherwise I would say it provided for a truly memorable family holiday! What a shame it’s relocating back to the USA! I would definitely travel with RCI again.

One final point on the subject of being an autism-friendly cruise company. We found this very much to be the case, staff in the children’s club were professional and accommodating. They provided us with a phone when we used their facilities on sea days. We also had priority boarding to prevent issues at boarding. They were very inclusive and did a great job.
