First Time with RCI

Really enjoyed the friendly nature on board this ship which had it’s positive effect on the passengers. We loved the crew and their attention to detail. The layout of the ship was easy to negotiate and the deck-plans were well situated along with the interactive boards.
Other pluses for us:- sliding doors onto the decks; towel station on the pool deck which prevented the lazy passengers from leaving their towels lying around ( a fine for you if they are not returned!); excellent food in Windjammers buffet; at busy times the crew organised a controlled entry into Windjammers which prevented the “push and shove” experienced on some other cruise-lines; only one person required to collect tender tickets and you could wait in comfort anywhere on board.
The only (slight) moan is the lack of waiters on occasions which meant that, for a majority of the time, we had to join the queue at the bar. Having said that, the bar staff were amazingly efficient and kept everyone entertained.
Most passengers seemed to be on drinks packages – expensive, but the feeling was that they were good value.
Overall, an excellent experience and we will certainly consider Royal Caribbean for future cruises.
