14 day Cruise in the Caribbean

This cruise was not as good as previous Seabourn cruises which we have taken. We enjoyed ourselves but when we considered the various aspects of the cruise there were negatives on every one. Firstly we booked a 14 day cruise. However, a very large number of the customers left after 7 days and new ones arrived.. This meant we had 2 departure events and 2 arrival events. We also had the same Lloyd Webber show each week. Events were cancelled on change-over day.

The chamber-maid was dreadful. Bathroom was never properly cleaned and the glasses were never washed in 2 weeks. My pyjamas were often left in a heap on the phone!

Service at breakfast was poor. 20 minutes to get a cup on tea. Service on deck was similarly slow. Lunch food on deck was poor pizza or overcooked fish. General quality of the food was not good (except for the steaks which were excellent). Any vegetables were limited and usually overcooked.

The theatre was so cold that people, including us, left during the performances.

Pretentious and second-rate come to mind.
