Christmas and NY Cruise to Caribbean

On the whole, we had a wonderful time on this cruise

It featured a great itinerary, in particularly Cartagena and Bonaire.

We met some lovely people, including a couple who had also booked through Bolsover and another family who lived 3 miles from us.

The friendlines of the passengers was such that you could not walk more than 10 yards without having a conversation.

The food was definately not as good as we had previously experienced with Seabourn ( with the exception of Keller, which was exceptional). We were told ( off the record) that chef directors had to been brought in due to issues in the Colenade Restaurant but I am not sure if that was true.

There were definite staff issues in the Main Dining Room and on Deck. For example, we often experienced delays in receiving different courses in the Main Restaurant. One day, on deck, there would be too many staff offering drinks and the next day only one !

Entertainment was first class particularly considering there were only 350 on board.

Cabins were kept spotlessly clean with very friendly and efficient service from the cabin staff.
