Royal Caribbean International’s newest ship, Wonder of the Seas, has arrived at Fort Lauderdale in the US ahead of her debut next month.
Billed as the world’s biggest cruise ship, the vessel is due to make her official debut on 4 March with a series of Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings departing from Fort Lauderdale. She will then relocate to the Mediterranean in May.
Guests will discover eight unique neighbourhoods on board the Oasis Class ship, including the Suite Neighbourhood, a Royal Caribbean first. Meanwhile, Central Park is lined with more than 20,000 real plants.
A wealth of dining options are available on board, such as the Mason Jar, which will serve up southern staples with a contemporary twist.
A number of signature experiences are waiting to be discovered, like the ever-popular FlowRider surf simulator, rock climbing walls and The Ultimate Abyss, hailed as the tallest slide at sea.
Wonder of the Seas inaugural sailings will include Royal Caribbean’s private island destination in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay. Her European season includes popular ports such as Barcelona and Rome.
