Viking Libra is set to be a landmark addition to Viking’s adults-only ocean fleet, combining elegant small-ship cruising with forward-looking marine technology. Built by Fincantieri, the ship is designed to operate using hydrogen power, with the ability to sail with zero emissions in certain conditions.
Accommodating 998 guests across 499 all-veranda staterooms, Viking Libra will offer a refined and spacious experience at sea. With a gross tonnage of 54,300, she sits within Viking’s award-winning small ship class, allowing guests to enjoy destination-focused itineraries and access to ports that larger ships cannot always reach. Her inaugural seasons are expected to include sailings in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
