AmaWaterways has unveiled new flight-inclusive fares for its UK guests, with all river cruises departing after 3 April 2024 including return airfares from either London or Manchester, along with ground transfers to and from the ship.

While the inclusive flight offering is now standard, guests will still have the option to customise their experience. Those preferring a cruise-only fare, departures from different regions, or wishing to travel in Business Class can make such requests to suit their personal travel preferences.

Included flights are not limited to AmaWaterways’ selection of European river itineraries. The cruise line has extended this convenience to include flight packages for its exotic cruises, such as those on the Mekong through Asia, the African voyages on the Nile and Chobe rivers, and sailings along the Magdalena River in Colombia.

Jamie Loizou, Managing Director at AmaWaterways UK, noted: “Our mission is to make it as convenient and efficient as possible for agents to reserve an AmaWaterways river cruise for their clients.

“In the majority of cases, our guests want to book flights along with their river cruise, and with the new flight-inclusive pricing it is less time-consuming for agents to book a package and they have a complete picture of their river cruise holiday price before confirming the booking. We do of course still offer cruise-only option for those who wish to incorporate our river cruises as part of a longer trip or who need more flexibility.”

Booking a journey with AmaWaterways ensures travellers enjoy an all-encompassing river cruise experience, which consists of all meals, accompanied by wine, beer, and soft drinks with lunch and dinner, as well as a ‘Sip and Sail’ cocktail hour. Additionally, guests can select from up to eight daily excursions, providing intimate touring experiences guided by local experts.
