Special Birthdays on Queen Elizabeth-Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews
We were a party of 8, on board especially as the mini cruise coincided with my husband’s and best friends 70th Birthday (30 November and1 December). 2 in our party had never cruised before and 1 had never cruised from Southampton so we were keen to show the how fantastic it can be.
Embarkation was very efficient and we were all soon sitting outside on deck with drinks in hand. Drinks are pricey an…
Noisy-Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews
The walls constantly and loud rattles all night so no sleep for me. The engine noise was in my ears rumbling all night.
Poor English means you get overpriced wine without noticing, so be careful and be prepared to argue the bill.
Clean and plush in all other areas. Ruel, our room service, was very attentive and good natured.
Excellent first cruiseP&O Cruises | Azura Reviews
As first-time cruisers, we could not fault any of the organisation by Bolsover and P&O which lead to and throughout the Carribean cruise including the numerous pre-booked excursions. Of course, there were aspects of cruising, compared against standard land-based holidays, where we preferred land-based but that was to be expected as we had taken many years to decide on going in the first place. In …
OverallP&O Cruises | Aurora Reviews
Fabulous cruise just what we needed after moving house. Quiet and relaxing. Cabin was lovely although not very good weather to enjoy our balcony. We tried all three restaurants and even won the raffle. Not impressed with the Glass House however, fiddly little jars and unable to get the food out because of not being given a teaspoon so try getting Patti out with knife and fork. I did mention this t…
Caribbean Cruise 9th NovemberP&O Cruises | Britannia Reviews
The crew were friendly, helpful and informative. Cabin steward Donald worked tirelessly yet remained friendly and courteous. Entertainment was first class and the ship’s theatre company were amazing. A highlight was the dancing classes run by Ian & Penny. Thoroughly enjoyed learning a new skill. They were very personable and great teachers. What a great way to spend a couple of hours on a sea day –…
Superb Mediterranean cruiseP&O Cruises | Oriana Reviews
We had an absolutely wonderful time on our cruise around the Mediterranean in October. Oriana is a beautiful ship and I for one will be sad to see her go. I’m also very sad that her replacement will be such a massive ship. I do hope that P&O will realise that there are a large number of their clients who prefer smaller, more intimate ships.
My cabin (Deluxe outside) was excellent. Lots of room and…
Ventura ReviewP&O Cruises | Ventura Reviews
Destinations great food good cabin excellent upgraded from restricted view to a partially restricted view which was not restricted at all.
Trips very good only downside a lot of walking from ship to town, not all ports had shuttle buses.
Lovely Relaxing CruiseP&O Cruises | Ventura Reviews
We travelled to Spain & Portugal on 12th November. This was the first time we had cruised so late in the year and the first time we have booked an inside cabin, both experiences were excellent.
Ventura was the first ship we cruised on and it was lovely to be back on this beautiful lady, who was looking lovelier than ever after her refit. We were surprised to see that the cruise was fully booked bu…
Standards dropping-Princess Cruises | Caribbean Princess Reviews
Our 13th cruise with Princess and dress code standards are dropping. Gentlemen were allowed in main restaurants in the evening wearing shorts. Also on formal nights, approx 50% of gentlemen in main restaurants did not wear a jacket or tie.
The ship has been redesigned since our last cruise on her. Princess Links (putting green) is now on deck 19, the highest deck with no wind protection making it …
Good but not bestP&O Cruises | Britannia Reviews
Although some cruisers have given negative comments on the Britannia we found the ship really good overall. Yes, the lifts were an issue at times but not a problem. Unfortunately, our cabin was at the front and restaurant at back and show at front. As the wife is in wheelchair this made it a little awkward. Meal choices not as varied but quality still great.
Cruise 9.11.18 to 21.11.18P&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews
Excellent cruise in every way superb entertainment, band the Waves brilliant.
Food and staff great. Enjoyed the tours out. Captain gave regular bulletins on weather, which was reassuring when the sea was rough and gave us a thought for today.
Spoilt by the price of drinks-Cunard Line | Queen Victoria Reviews
Just one thing was seriously wrong with our recent cruise to Spain and Portugal on Queen Victoria and that was the price of acholic drinks. On day one we had two glasses is Sauvignon Blanc in the Lido $32.20 inc service, first night a bottle of SB $43.70. Then a wine package, 12 bottles $560. Admitably two Gordon Gin and Schweppes tonics in a bar were only $20.70!
Appreciate that the rubbish pound…
Superb holidayP&O Cruises | Arcadia Reviews
Superb holiday first time in a mini suite, loved it. Headliners, Roy Walker, Mick Miller and ventriloquist great entertainment, food in Meridian restaurant best ever, cabin steward (Max) and table waiters very friendly and attentive, twenty-nine nights flashed by, booked next two cruises on ship.
Long weekend away on Queen Victoria, why not?Cunard Line | Queen Victoria Reviews
Having previously enjoyed both the QM2 and the Queen Elizabeth the opportunity to enjoy a cheeky long weekend on the Queen Victoria was too good to miss. Three nights in November short trip to Le Havre was just what the doctor ordered. The Q.V. is nominally smaller than the QE, hardly noticeable though. For such a short trip we opted for an inside stateroom which proved small but completely adequa…
Never again-P&O Cruises | Azura Reviews
The ship was clean. The evening menus did not bear any relation to the meals provided. The crab soufflé was a lump of dough with no sign of the crab. All were returned uneaten! Entertainment was a young man (comedian) who was not funny and embarrassed his audience eg “is your wife going for ones or twos”! All acts appeared to be “tributes” and the singers on stage were shouting – not singing.
Great value, great funMSC Cruises | MSC Meraviglia Reviews
The ship is beautiful and in pristine shape. However, it’s huge, and so feels less like a ship than mid-size ships. The heart of the ship feels more like a luxurious shopping mall than a ship. In that area, you don’t see (or feel) the waves.
The entertainment was top class – nightly shows with live music, singing and dancing that were at a level one would pay for at home. There were standing ovati…
30 night roundtrip Carribean with BermudaP&O Cruises | Arcadia Reviews
As usual, the cabin and waiting staff were excellent, I had mobility issues as the Wednesday before sailing it was confirmed I have a slipped disc pressing on the sciatic nerve so moving around was tricky most of the time and painful all of the time. The staff were very willing and accommodating when I needed help, but left me alone when I was ok.
It also restricted the day trips and sightseeing I…
Wonderful treatP&O Cruises | Arcadia Reviews
We’ve just got back from a month-long cruise to the Caribbean and thoroughly enjoyed it. As it was still their rainy/hurricane season, we had some rain but most of the afternoons were sunny. Due to an Atlantic storm, we bypassed the Azores and went to La Coruna in northern Spain instead which was wonderful, thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Having beautiful sunshine also helped! The staff as alwa…
Disappointing-Cunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews
As the ship was undergoing a refurbishment at the end of the cruise we felt we were short changed as they seemed to wind down early e.g. running short of spa items our favourite wine shopping was dismal and entertainment not up to scratch.
First time CunardCunard Line | Queen Elizabeth Reviews
First cruise with Cunard after several years with P&O, not disappointed traditional cruising as it should be.
Cruise on Oriana 24/10/2018 to 11/11/2018P&O Cruises | Oriana Reviews
Once again the waiting staff up to usual high standard and without these employees the cruise would not have been enjoyable. Entertainment dreadful as shows are all the same as previous and new shows need to be introduced if it’s not too much trouble for the entertainment manager. Food good and I urge P&O not to get rid of Club Dining or black tie formal nights as it may be the only time when pass…
Dining and entertainment were not up to normal standard.-P&O Cruises | Oriana Reviews
Overall the cruise on Oriana was good despite the weather – not that P & O could do anything about that!! The ship was comfortable as usual and our balcony cabin spotless.
The only gripe I had was the very long wait for our meals to come in Freedom dining. We were later informed that the stewards were having to service 24 covers instead of the original 16. They were not happy either and it showed.…
Enjoyed despite the weatherP&O Cruises | Oriana Reviews
Arrived home on 11 November after a 19-day cruise around the western med on Oriana. We had a false start due to the illness of 2 passengers having to turn back to Southampton after travelling out to sea for 1 hour, then we had to wait for a new slot before we could set sail again.
Sailing across the Bay of Biscay was one of the smoothest crossings we have had, having said that the weather could ha…
Mr & Mrs T PalingP&O Cruises | Oriana Reviews
An excellent cruise with such marvellous staff to look after us. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff whatever it was. We had a great time on the Oriana and it is so sad that she is leaving the fleet.
A sad goodbye to Oriana may she go to on and on.
Britannia rules!P&O Cruises | Britannia Reviews
Britannia is a great ship. Lovely staff, good food and entertainment. Cannot fault anything.
Friendly happy shipP&O Cruises | Britannia Reviews
Enjoyed a wonderful transatlantic Caribbean cruise. The crew are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Mary our cabin girl was excellent. Food very good.
The layout of the self-service restaurant causes chaos at breakfast & lunch as you have to search for all the complimentary items you need.
Insignia ReviewOceania Cruises | Insignia Reviews
Thank you. Sorry about the late reply, but my computer has been in the dock. We enjoyed the brief stay in New York, just off Times Square. The first week of the cruise went as planned, but the weather deteriorated due to an early arrival of winter. We think the crew kept us well entertained on board, with extra talks, cookery demonstrations, and other activities. We hope the refit includes more li…

Terrible-Royal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas Reviews
The most dreadful cruise I have ever been on stabilizer broke in the middle of the Bay of Biscay ship took on water listing badly crew waste deep in water in their life jackets managed to get into Vigo safely. Captain had the audacity to say a minor problem!
Needless to say, has put me off cruising for life.
What’s not to like!!Cunard Line | Queen Mary 2 Reviews
