Fabulous trip on Oriana.P&O Cruises | Oceana

Excellent food brilliant crew and marvellous weather from day one on our Oriana cruise from Southampton on the 1st of July X712.
Out of the ten ports of call only Gibraltar and Pelermo turned out to be a disappointment with both ports being a bit scruffy and run down.
Although we’d only booked an inside cabin, ours was midship on Atlantic deck.
The cabins are small but perfectly adequate and follo…

Disappointed on OrianaP&O Cruises | Oriana

This is the third time we have cruised on Oriana and unfortunately it will be the last. Standards have slipped. Staffing seemed to be a problem at busy times it was difficult in certain areas to get served and the disembarkation was a shambles. There was no sign of entertainment staff in the ballroom if anyone travelling alone wanted to dance. I usually look forward to the evening dinners but this…

Bahamas with Oasis of the SeasRoyal Caribbean International | Oasis of the Seas

What a beautiful ship the Oasis of the Seas is – enormous but beautiful. We (family of 4 with 2 x 16 year olds) sailed from Port Canaveral having had a week in the parks in Orlando. Mention here for Alamo car hire – drop off and pick up at the port are brilliant and just 5/10 minutes on their shuttle to the ship. Captain Rob kept welcoming us to our “home away from home” and he was right felt very…

Enjoyable Baltics cruise.P&O Cruises | Aurora

Thoroughly enjoyed our cruise to the Baltics. The ports of call were all enjoyable. Took a full day tour in St Petersburg which was brilliant with Larissa, our guide, being a source of knowledge beyond compare without overloading us. So glad we did not do the two day excursion as one day was quite tiring. Others we talked to on board felt physically drained after the experience.

P&O Cruises Britannia - One Day I Will See St Peter PortP&O Cruises | Britannia

I’ve just came back from a 6 night cruise to Western Europe on board P&O Cruises Britannia. A fantastic ship with plenty of room seeing as there was 3500 people on board, having read reviews before we went with people moaning about the lifts and quality of food they must have been on a different ship. My only gripe is with P&O Cruises putting the Channel Islands on the itineray. For two years runn…

Midnight Sun Cruise With Princess CruisesPrincess Cruises | Pacific Princess

Chose the itinerary because of going to North Cape but the cruise offered so much more, like the midnight sun which was amazing, the 80 mile sailings down a fjord and the remoteness of Spitsbergen. At first the smallness of Pacific Princess took some getting used to but after a few days you came to appreciate the intimacy and friendliness of a lovely ship. The intimacy of Pacific Princess was furt…

First time on a Princess CruisesPrincess Cruises | Pacific Princess

All previous cruises were with P&O Cruises which made me elite and gave us our own special dinning area and place for cocktails. Princess Cruises know how to spoil and make you feel special. The only two negatives were the no tea making facilities, and the pack of goodies in the bathroom 🚽 is poor compared to P&O Cruises, oh and no bitter on board though it is on the menu. The food was fantastic a…

We liked P&O Cruises Adonia, excellent food, friendly obliging crew, good sized bedroom and patio area. We did spend two days at sea and felt we could have called in Jersey and/or the Scily Isles. The least days at sea the better in our humble oplnlon. Monets garden was fantastic incidentally.

Seven of us went on this cruise together. There was myself, my daughter and daughter -in-law and four grandsons ages 21, 18, 16 and 11 years old. Very impressed with P & OP&O Cruises | Oceana

After 13 years of cruising with American ships, almost all with Celebrity, we decided to give our home line P & O a try. The Adonia was in the poorest condition of any ship we have been on. There were many faults and breakdowns . A good way to do a river cruiseFred. Olsen Cruise Lines | Braemar

We went on a French river cruise, we liked the idea of going on an ocean going liner from Southampton to the rivers, rather than fly to the continent and go on the small river boats. We sailed quite a way up the Gironde to Bordeaux and along the Seine to Rouen and had trips to Bayeaux Tapestry and Paris. for us it was a good way to see these things.

What has happened at P & O? .
We were given a check in time of 3PM and got on board about 30 minutes later ( despite being long established cruisers) cases arrived and then we were told to attend safety drill – no time for something to eat/drink.
Cabin was not cleaned properly, carpet was tatty and stained we were told that stewards now have to clean 18 cabins instead of the 12 each previously. S…

Disappointed with cruiseP&O Cruises | Ventura

Having been on Ventura & Azura on several occasions we found the quality of a good proportion of the clientele had dropped, is this because of the TV advertising attracting more people ? A further point was the number of wheelchairs, couldn’t move for them, no disrespect but could they not have a ship which catered for wheelchair users. Babies / young children were in the dining room which did not…

Nice ship, smooth, lovely balcony room, no noise. Fantastic value for money. Though smaller than some RCI ships, at 2400 passengers, this was about right for us. Very efficient embarkation and dis-embarkation in Rome, with no problems. Fantastic mix of passengers on board & …

We booked this cruise quite late, we had heard good and bad about this ship. We were pleasantly surprised. Our cabin was on G deck at the back, unfortunately above the live lounge. A very friendly ship, excellent staff and a wonderful captain, but certainly dated, cleanliness a big issue, food not up to normal P&O standard, I was ill and I’m a vegetarian…..!!!!. Lots of the little touches missing, but could that be because we went on Britannia last year…..? Having been on the Ventura, we presumed its sister ship would be as good, so disappointed.

Similar crowd issues …

enjoyable cruise on ConstellationCelebrity Cruises | Celebrity Constellation

Sailed from Barcelona where check in process was very smooth and speedy. On board and in our cabins shortly after 1.30. Cabin very clean and spacious. The only problem as far as we were concerned was cabins 6000 and 6001 looked as though they were adjoining but in between was a crew only door,so to go to our daughters cabin involved a 80 yd walk each way. We ate on second sitting and found service …

Our first time with Celebrity and this was a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The ship wasn’t as grand as we expected but the cabins were comfortable and quiet and we managed to get a good nights sleep every night. The food in the main restaurant was very good but the Freedom dining we opted for doesn’t work the same as it does on other cruises we have been on. It took us a few days to work this o…

Fred Olsen Boudicca - Norwegian FjordsFred. Olsen Cruise Lines | Boudicca

I have just returned from a fantastic cruise in the Norwegian Fjords onboard the Boudicca. The service and food onboard was fantastic. I could not fault this at all and I would say the service I received was definitely the best I have had!

The itinerary was great visiting Olden, Bergen and Flaam and this ship was a perfect size for us. There was always something to do onboard and the entertain…

What were your initial impressions of the ship/product?
Having travelled with Fred Olsen before on the Balmoral I roughly new what to expect as to age of customers and d??cor, but my partner wasnƒ??t as this was his first cruise, so I was a little unsure of how he would enjoy it.
On arriving at Greenock after a pleasant 5-hour journey on the road the long stay car park was a little difficult to fi…

We have just enjoyed a week cruising on the Oceana sailing from Venice to Genoa, service was superb, we met lovely people particularly on our table in the Adriatic dining room, staff throughout the ship were exceptional nothing was too much trouble, our only concern was the size of the balcony cabins. Nice CruiseP&O Cruises | Oceana

Just returned from a 7 night cruise on Oceana. Overall the cruise was good and we enjoyed the experience. The ship was clean, staff friendly and efficient. This was our 1st time with P&O and would use them in future.
One disappointment was that we paid for freedom dining so we could eat at a time suitable for us. However, we also thought we would have more than 1 restaurant to choose from. This wa…

On arrival my initial impression of the ship was that she is very elegant, bright with lovely d??cor, spacious and relaxed. The outside of the ship looks great, very British., She is a large ship and has the wow factor but not losing her elegance. We really enjoyed our cruise on Azura and met some lovely like minded people.
It was a shame we were unable to dock in Madeira due to the fires there but our thoughts were with those on Madeira. An extra day at sea did make it a long time when added on to the 3 days already at sea!
We enjoyed all the other ports of call and also the camel ride and segways experience which were booked via P&O. Thes…

Navigator Med CruiseRoyal Caribbean International | Navigator of the Seas

The cruise whilst ideal from a practical point of view leaving Southampton and visiting many places in the med, was not what we expected having travelled on the 4th August 2016 sailing. The biggest problem was the number of children on the cruise and the uncontrolled way in which they took over the ship running around in gangs and eating food anywhere and leaving rubbish in lifts and corridors. Th…

The only down side to this cruises was out of control children and especially young teenagers. The cruise was good but sadly was taken poorly and spent a week in a wheelchair as unable to walk due to inflamed and infected right knee.
Spent the last few days hobbling about with the aid of a walking stick.
Holiday was disappointing for me but my 17 year daughter was affected more than I, as she wheeled me around and couldn’t do the trips she wanted because I was too poorly to accompany her.

Britannia could and should be a great ship. It has excellent restaurants and facilities but is let down badly on a number of poor design levels.
