Caribbean January 2019-P&O Cruises | Oriana Reviews

Thirty-five nights in the Caribbean, overall pretty good, as long as you remember this is cruising straight out of the Hi De Hi handbook for guest entertainment.

Bucket list cruise-P&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews

Our cruise to Dubai and Arabian Gulf lived up to our expectations and more. As we were on P&O’s maiden voyage to this part of the world we were pleasantly surprised that everything went smoothly and as always customer enjoyment was paramount. Food, entertainment, staff and excursions were great and as expected. The ports visited were amazing and we would return tomorrow.

Oceana is our favourite sh…

United Arab EmiratesP&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews

The number and variety of ports of call really appealed to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the trips we took which were led by very good guides. We thought that the restaurant food was varied and delicious. Staff generally were helpful and friendly and the bar venues were good. Our one real issue was the very high cost charged for the use of the internet. This was disappointing.

A Sad Farewell.P&O Cruises | Oriana Reviews

Was I just lucky? I have travelled a lot on Oriana, but not recently. Following the passing of my husband, I decided to travel on my own to see the Panama Canal, which we had not been able to do, and say farewell to Oriana, our favourite ship. I am unable to join her for her last passage.

I was allocated my cabin which was neat and clean with an excellent steward who acted straight away to request…

Atlantic Crossing on the Ventura to the Caribbean IslandsP&O Cruises | Ventura Reviews

We have had a wonderful twenty-eight day Caribbean cruise sailing on the Ventura. It was an amazing voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. The cruise overall was excellent. The staff, food and entertainment were excellent. We can highly recommend a cruise on Ventura if you like day time and evening entertainment. The Headliners Theatre Company were excellent performing their shows throughout the cruise…

Anytime Dining Menu not so goodPrincess Cruises | Star Princess Reviews

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise but some night’s we struggled with the content of the menu in the anytime dining restaurant, also if it said pie that was exactly what you got nothing else but the Horizon buffet was fine great selection of everything. Wine was a bit expensive probably upwards of £7 for a medium sized glass & then there wasn’t much choice ‘by the glass’. Also could have don…

E902A-P&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews

There were a few issues with the ship, one being the ladies toilets were always out of order all through the cruise, but the main one was the air conditioning was turned up too high and the ship was freezing, everybody was coughing and a lot of people were ill. The Adriatic restaurant was like sitting in an icelantic wind tunnel in the evening, everyone was complaining of feeling cold, the only wa…

First TimerP&O Cruises | Ventura Reviews

This was my first ever cruise to celebrate my 48th birthday. Booked as a last minute late deal, sailing round trip from Southampton to Bruges & Amsterdam. Thoroughly enjoyed myself & already have the cruising bug. Ventura is a gorgeous ship & I look forward to sailing on her again soon. All the staff were friendly, helpful, caring & all-round great.

Once in a lifetime.......Regent Seven Seas Cruises | Seven Seas Explorer Reviews

Well worth the long flights to experience Brasil, Uruguay and Argentina. So much to see and do.

January 2019 the weather was hot & humid. Sailing was good, never choppy or rocking.

Lots of tendering required to visit the destinations on foot or join the excursions so be prepared.

Should you opt to stay on board the quiet times in port are even more relaxing.

You are spoilt once you have sailed wit…

Lovely CruiseP&O Cruises | Britannia Reviews

Just come back from the Caribbean on Britannia, we couldn’t fault, the staff, the food and the cleanliness on this ship, we were made to feel like Kings and Queens. The evening entertainment was good. Lots of first time cruisers so all of the trips booked very quickly, and we couldn’t get on all of the trips we wanted, everything was really booked on day 1. We had a suite which was excellent with …

Lovely cruise met some really nice people, few grumpy ones, as usual, very nice seas and was great to get away from the English cold. The staff could not have been more helpful and ever so polite, more so than previous cruises.

Long cruise to Dubai-P&O Cruises | Oceana Reviews

The cabins on the ship and in particular the bathrooms are very very small. The balcony will just hold 2 chairs. The menu choices were going worse but the actual food was very good. The cruise was a large number of sea days and not many stops. The sail past of HMS Dragon was very nice.

Atlantic Crossing East to WestCunard Line | Queen Victoria Reviews

This was our first Cunard experience, and we were not disappointed. We were on the first sector of the 2019 World Cruise; this would take us from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale, stopping at Bermuda and Port Canaveral. We were under no illusions with six sea days before the first port of call we would need to find plenty to do. Also, the North Atlantic in January could have been very rough (think N…

Eastern CaribbeanNorwegian Cruise Line | Norwegian Dawn

Our first Norwegian cruise, 12 nights with only one sea day and visiting 9 islands. Hotel aspect of the Dawn was all good, Freestyle dining enabled us to select our own style and time of meals, ship comfortable, staff excellent and cabin spacious (basic balcony) especially the bathroom. Only disappointments were that there were no ‘serious’ talks about destinations, only selling shore excursions, …

Christmas and New Year 2018Cunard Line | Queen Victoria Reviews

We had a wonderful cruise throughout although the bad weather in Madeira stopped us going ashore which was disappointing.

I felt really sorry for the people on the island as not many people could go ashore to shop I think there was only one cruise ship in dock. The rest were anchored in the bay. They had spent millions of euros on the truly awesome firework display to celebrate the 600th year of M…

Although we have cruised many times during the past 25 years it was our first at Christmas time and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience from the moment we boarded. The atmosphere created for the holiday period was magical with fantastic lights trees and decorations throughout the ship, individual Christmas trees in the cabins and even a Christmas market day.

Great cruise even in bad weatherP&O Cruises | Arcadia Reviews

Heavy seas both outbound and home. Entertainment good but felt that Emma Alexander did not have the full support of her crew.

Our major disappoint was that the Christmas and New Year cruises have been discontinued. There were a considerable number of passengers that we had met over the last 5 years who were equally upset.

Do P and O want the custom of our age groups or not?

We have cruised many times and to be fair have been avoiding the Britannia because of its size.
