Had a fantastic 14 nights cruise around Norway. 9 ports of call and the scenery is just magnificent. The cruise ship was lovely and clean. The food was delicious and plenty of choice. We used the Anytime Dining in the main restaurants and the Horizon court buffet on theme nights. The service was excellent and the waiters and bar staff all friendly and happy. The balcony stateroom was larger than we have had on Royal Caribbean and the queen size bed really comfy. Edgar, our stateroom attendant couldn’t do enough for us and met us every morning and evening with a smile. He used to greet us with lots of ‘hellos’ or a ‘meow’ which our children found quite funny. The stateroom was kept spotless and he left us chocolates every night. The only downside of our cruise was the entertainment could have been better. The theatre shows were not as good as on Royal Caribbean and the same singers sang round the bars at night, although we found one called Ian Frost who we listened to most evenings. The daytime entertainment could have been better too, but I suppose if we had been on a Med Cruise it wouldn’t have mattered as we would have been outside more. All in all though, loved it and would do it all again tomorrow… if only.
