Slovenia Cruises

Koper is Slovenia’s main cruise port and largest coastal town. Its medieval old town is compact, charming, and easy to explore on foot.

At the heart of the city is Titov Trg, a grand square surrounded by Venetian-Gothic architecture and the striking Pretorian Palace.

Climb the nearby bell tower for views over the city and sea. The surrounding streets are lined with cafés, gelato stands, and local shops.

Koper also embraces modern life. The Semedela promenade, once industrial, is now a scenic walkway dotted with olive trees, sculptures, and sea views — popular with both locals and day visitors.

Piran is Slovenia’s most photogenic seaside town. It sits on a narrow peninsula, surrounded by sea on three sides.

The old town is a maze of cobbled lanes, shaded squares, and Venetian-style buildings. Terracotta rooftops, medieval walls, and a sea breeze give it a romantic, old-world feel.

From the town walls, you’ll get panoramic views over the Adriatic. Down below, the waterfront is perfect for strolling or enjoying fresh seafood by the harbour.

Piran feels like a smaller, quieter version of Dubrovnik — but with its own distinct Slovenian soul.
