Northern Lights Cruises
It’s on the top of so many people’s bucket lists, so why wait to see the Northern Lights? Experience the beautiful, swirling colours with your loved ones when you book a Northern Lights cruise.

Discover Northern Lights Cruises
When it comes to the world’s most famous and sought-after cruise destinations, the Arctic Circle ranks highly for one big reason. This mystical part of the world is where cruisers from all over the world hope to catch a glimpse of vivid ribbons of green, purple, and gold painted across the night sky. Most visible between September and March, this phenomenon is one of the most incredible experiences in the world, and guests can even head out on a Northern Lights cruise from the UK!
But Aurora Borealis cruises aren’t just about the main event. Guests can also look forward to days at sea cruising past serene Norwegian Fjords and snow-dusted landscapes between visits to charming Nordic port towns. For seasoned cruisers and first-timers alike, Northern Lights cruises offer the perfect blend of cosy luxury, cultural discovery, and natural immersion.

Can You See the Northern Lights on an Alaskan Cruise?
Most cruises setting out to give guests a glimpse of the Northern Lights will sail northward to Norway on their way to the Arctic, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be seen on a cruise of Alaska.
With a similar latitude to Norway, Alaska is close enough to the North Pole for cruisers to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis, though this is possible only during certain times of the year.
Cruisers heading to Alaska can only see the Northern Lights during the autumn and winter months, with the summer bringing too much daylight. To see this amazing sight, we recommend going no earlier than September.
