No, Fred. Olsen Cruises is not an all-inclusive cruise line. As of January 2026, it offers Freedom Fares, a new and improved pricing structure that includes selected house beer by the glass, selected wines by the glass, and draught soft drinks with your lunch and evening meals. Whilst the cruise line is not adults-only, Fred. Olsen does offer adults-only cruises on select itineraries and ships. As of January 2026, Borealis is an adult-only ship, with Bolette and Balmoral continuing to welcome families.
Fred. Olsen Cruises sails primarily from the UK, offering cruise holidays from a wide range of UK ports, including Southampton, Liverpool, Dover and Newcastle.
There are three pricing options:
- Freedom Fares provide guests the best choice of cabins, offering the greatest selection, benefits and flexibility possible.
- Saver Fares offer guests promotional fares with a simplified pricing structure. They give guests specially reduced prices when full payment is made at the time of booking (100% cancellation charges apply, and no refunds are permitted).
- Saver Fare PLUS Fares include all of the above Saver Fares terms and conditions, but guests will receive their grade of cabin at the time of booking.

Yes, Fred. Olsen Cruises welcomes bookings from younger guests aged 12 months to 17 years.
Evening wear is simple for Fred. Olsen Cruises ships. Most evenings are smart casual, with a formal night or two providing the chance to dress up. To add some fun to the cruise, there may also be some optional theme nights on longer sailings.
Guests can request first (6.15pm) or second (8.30pm) seating when they make their booking. They can also request a preferred table depending on the fare type booked, but this can’t always be guaranteed. Restaurant seating cards are provided upon boarding, confirming the table number and dining time. This will be your allocated table for the duration of your cruise. Please note that evening dining times may vary on the One Night Cruises.
