MSC Cruises has revealed entertainment guests can expect aboard MSC Virtuosa when she sails from Southampton next month.

A special series of British Isles sailings from 20 May 2021 will debut the new MSC Cruises ship, starting with a special maiden voyage. Guests joining any of the MSC summer ‘staycation’ cruises will enjoy the VIP treatment with cocktails on the promenade, plus a special gala night.

New theatre productions will see guests enjoy some much-needed West End style magic, while in the Carousel Lounge there will be performances from singing trio, the Soul Sisters, and stand-up comedian, Rikki Jay.

Antonio Paradiso, MD MSC Cruises UK & Ireland commented, “MSC Virtuosa is the ship that just keeps on giving, so I couldn’t be more excited for guests to join these first four sailings and experience the celebratory treats we have specially curated for these maiden voyages. On board MSC Virtuosa, a one-of-a-kind entertainment offering awaits eager British holiday makers, who have missed out on their favourite leisure activities over the last year, from live entertainment, to dancing and meals out. We want guests to share in the excitement of our

British Isles sailings and we hope that these special touches will make their holiday even more memorable.”

The uniqueness of the MSC Cruises onboard experience has been preserved whilst building into it measures to protect the health and safety of our guests and crew. Entertainment is a popular part of the cruise experience and MSC Cruises has specifically designed the programme in compliance with the Company’s industry-leading health and safety protocol with measures in place such as controlling number of guests for different activities, wearing of masks and deep-cleaning of areas after each use. This means that guests can safely enjoy quality live music, activities and sports by the pool, engaging entertainment activities in the promenade and lounges.
