EXPLORA I, the first ship to join the Explora Journeys fleet, will visit a series of exciting destinations during the autumn/winter 2024-25 season. The luxury ship will embark on 23 journeys and two grand journeys, stopping at 73 unique destinations across 24 countries.

Sacha Rougier, Head of Itinerary Planning and Destination Experiences at Explora Journeys, commented: “Guests will have the chance to delve into an exhilarating celebration of diversity: From private tours of MoMA in New York City to thrilling boat expeditions up the Amazon; discovering new shades of blue on a hidden Caribbean island or being fully immersed in the biggest show on earth with our exclusive Explora Journeys carnival experience in Rio, where they’ll be granted insider access to join the vibrant performers.”

Among the highlights is an eight-night Journey to Trailing Whales and Falling Leaves. This itinerary will depart New York City on 8 October 2024, visiting Boston, Portland and Halifax before finishing in Quebec City. Along the route, the itinerary will explore the Gulf of St. Lawrence, as well as the waters of New England famed for attracting blue, beluga and minke whales.

A Journey of Tantalising Transatlantic Adventures will set sail from Bridgetown, Barbados on 3 April 2025. The 14-night Transatlantic Crossing includes relaxing days at sea, as well as visits to Cape Verde, the Canary Islands and Madeira before arriving in Lisbon on 18 April 2025.

The grand journeys are no less impressive. EXPLORA I will depart on the 28-night A Grand Journey to Amazonia & Tropical Isles, as well as A Grand Transatlantic Odyssey in the Atlantic lasting 32 nights. Guests will be able to explore unforgettable destinations along the routes, visiting ports across the Caribbean and the Amazon.
