Celebrity Xcite Cruises Now on Sale Ahead of 2028 Caribbean Debut

Celebrity Cruises has opened bookings for Celebrity Xcite, its newest ship, which will make her debut in 2028 with a season of seven-night Caribbean cruises from Miami.

The sixth ship in Celebrity Cruises’ Edge Series, Celebrity Xcite will join nine other ships sailing in the Caribbean during the 2028/29 season, marking the cruise line’s largest programme in the region to date.

Alongside the new ship’s inaugural itineraries, Celebrity Cruises has announced more short breaks, additional Panama Canal voyages and an expanded selection of Southern Caribbean cruises.

Where Will Celebrity Xcite Sail in 2028?

Celebrity Xcite will operate seven-night Caribbean itineraries departing from Miami, with a rotating selection of ports across the Eastern Caribbean.

Destinations will include St. Thomas, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten and the Dominican Republic.

Guests will have opportunities to explore some of the Caribbean’s best-known beaches and natural attractions, including The Baths at Virgin Gorda, alongside historic towns, local markets and island scenery.

Further details about Celebrity Xcite’s onboard facilities and experiences are expected as her 2028 debut approaches.

New Short Caribbean Cruises on Celebrity Beyond

Another significant addition to the 2028/29 programme is the introduction of three-night weekend cruises aboard Celebrity Beyond.

For the first time, an Edge Series ship will offer short Caribbean breaks, with nine departures from Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas scheduled between November 2028 and March 2029.

Celebrity Beyond will also operate longer itineraries of eight to 11 nights, including six voyages to the Panama Canal and visits to destinations such as Barbados, Martinique, Saint Lucia and Antigua.

More Southern Caribbean and Year-Round Sailings

Celebrity Cruises is expanding its Southern Caribbean programme, with Celebrity Silhouette offering eight- to 12-night summer itineraries to destinations including Barbados, Grenada, Martinique and Saint Lucia.

Celebrity Xcel will sail six- and eight-night itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, visiting Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, alongside Western Caribbean destinations including Mexico, Honduras and Grand Cayman.

Meanwhile, the refurbished Celebrity Reflection will continue operating year-round Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale, following a major transformation scheduled for March 2027.

Celebrity Apex will also return to Port Canaveral, offering Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

When Do Celebrity Cruises’ 2028/29 Caribbean Sailings Go on Sale?

Bookings for Celebrity Xcite’s inaugural season and the wider winter 2028/29 Caribbean programme opened on 3 November 2026.

The summer 2028 Caribbean collection is scheduled to go on sale on 9 December 2026, providing further opportunities to explore the region with Celebrity Cruises.
