Disney Cruise Line has confirmed that Disney Wish will sail from Southampton in summer 2027, marking the ship’s first-ever visit to the UK and her debut season in Europe.
Currently operating short three- and four-night sailings to The Bahamas from Port Canaveral, Disney Wish will reposition to Europe following a special transatlantic voyage. The move represents a significant milestone for Disney Cruise Line, bringing one of its newest and most innovative ships to UK waters for the first time.
Disney Wish will operate a programme of European itineraries ranging from three to 10 nights, combining destination-focused cruising with the onboard experiences the ship is known for.
Ports featured during the season include Zadar in Croatia, Trieste in Italy, close to Venice, and Hellesylt in Norway, a gateway to the Norwegian Fjords. Each itinerary blends cultural exploration ashore with immersive entertainment and dining experiences on board.
In addition to longer European sailings, Disney Wish will offer a series of three-, four- and five-night cruises from Southampton, providing UK guests with the opportunity to sail on the ship without the need to fly.
Disney Wish is designed around immersive storytelling, with venues and attractions themed around popular Disney franchises.
On board, guests can expect Broadway-style theatre productions, the AquaMouse attraction, described as the first Disney attraction at sea, and rotational dining experiences including Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure and Worlds of Marvel.
The ship also features dedicated spaces for younger guests, where children can take part in themed activities and interactive experiences with Disney Characters. Adults have access to a range of adults-only venues, including the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, pool areas and refined bars and restaurants.
