Fred. Olsen Canada Cruise 2028: New Liverpool Sailing Announced

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has revealed a new 19-night Canada cruise from Liverpool for 2028, offering a first glimpse of a much wider collection of new cruises set to launch in the coming weeks.

Scenic Highlights of Canada departs Liverpool on 14 June 2028, combining Newfoundland and Quebec with wildlife, coastal scenery and Norse history. The sailing is available to pre-book from 24 September, ahead of going on general sale on 1 October.

And this is only the beginning. From 7 October, more new Fred. Olsen cruises will be launching across the fleet, with further details to be revealed soon.

A New Canada Cruise from Liverpool for 2028

Sailing round-trip from Liverpool, the 19-night itinerary provides an easy no-fly way to experience Atlantic Canada.

After calling in Belfast, the cruise crosses the Atlantic to St. John’s in Newfoundland before continuing to Gaspé, Baie-Comeau and Quebec City. The return journey explores more of Newfoundland, including scenic cruising through Humber Arm and the Bay of Islands, Corner Brook and L’Anse aux Meadows, before calling at Cobh on the way back to Liverpool.

There is plenty packed into those 19 nights. Canada’s Atlantic waters provide opportunities for whale watching, while Newfoundland brings dramatic coastlines, forested landscapes and colourful communities.

Québec City offers a change of pace with the cobbled streets and historic architecture of Old Québec, while L’Anse aux Meadows reveals a much older story. The UNESCO World Heritage Site contains the remains of an 11th-century Norse settlement, providing fascinating evidence of Viking exploration in North America.

Why Pre-Book Fred. Olsen’s Canada Cruise?

The new Canada cruise is available to pre-book from 24 September, giving customers a week to secure their place before general sale begins on 1 October.

There’s a particularly good reason for solo cruisers to look early. A 0% solo supplement is available on applicable accommodation while availability lasts, meaning solo guests pay no additional single supplement. Solo availability is expected to be popular, so it’s worth getting in touch early if you’re considering travelling alone.
