The newest Royal Caribbean ship, Icon of the Seas, is set to feature a variety of new bars and nightlife when she debuts in January 2024.

Among the highlights will be Lou’s Jazz ‘n Blues, located in the open-air Central Park with live performances of soulful classics and jazz-pop tunes. Music lovers will be able to enjoy the sounds from indoors, or amongst thousands of real plants during Jazz in the Park.

Icon of the Seas will also showcase Royal Caribbean’s first duelling pianos bar, situated on the Royal Promenade in the heart of the ship. Meanwhile, Rye & Bean coffee shop is located in the AquaDome, where it is set to be a cosy morning hangout spot by day, and a buzzing bar by night.

Linken D’Souza, Vice-President of Food and Beverage at Royal Caribbean International, said: “We’ve set out to introduce a new kind of vacation in every sense and taken a blank slate to create an unparalleled blend of ways vacationers can celebrate and make memories whatever their mood, vibe and style.

“From all-new venues and bolder favourites to new iconic drinks on every menu, zero-proof cocktails and twists to classics, there’s something for everyone to make the most of their nights out on Icon of the Seas.”

Other new options include the 1400 Lobby Bar inspired by the history of shipbuilding, and Bubbles, a walk-up champagne window in Central Park where mimosas, prosecco, bellinis and even bottles of bubbly are on tap morning, noon and night.
