P&O Cruises, Cunard and Princess Cruises are excited to introduce Upgrade for guests, a new programme that gives you the opportunity to upgrade your chosen stateroom before you set sail.

Once you have paid your balance, you will receive an invitation to submit an upgrade offer if you are eligible to take part. You will typically receive this invitation around 80 days before your holiday begins, and while most cruises will be included in the programme, please note that certain sailings may be exempt.

As your departure date draws near, P&O Cruises, Cunard or Princess Cruises will carefully assess availability and consider the upgrade offers they have received. If your offer is accepted, you will be notified directly and subsequently moved to your new cabin. You will then have 72 hours to make payment and secure your upgrade.

In the event that payment is not received within the 72-hour timeframe, you will be assigned back to your original grade of stateroom.

You have the opportunity to submit an upgrade offer at any time, and we will review it as soon as it is submitted. We strive to inform guests of the outcome at least seven days before the cruise departure if their offer is successful. Please note that in exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to upgrade guests up until the day before departure. Rest assured, we will do our best to keep you informed and provide you with a delightful upgrade experience.

While the cruise lines will do their best to accommodate specific cabin requests, there is no guarantee that your original cabin number can be assigned. In some cases, you may be booked on a guaranteed basis. Rest assured, all the necessary details will be communicated clearly to you via email.
