Princess Cruises has unveiled its 2028/29 Australia and New Zealand cruises, featuring more than 90 departures across over 70 itineraries, with voyages ranging from two to 46 nights.

Three ships, Grand Princess, Emerald Princess and Royal Princess, will visit 42 destinations across six countries, with opportunities to explore 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and enjoy extended time ashore.

Highlights include the return of Emerald Princess to Australia for the first time since the 2016/17 season, more departures from Melbourne and an expanded selection of New Zealand itineraries.

Round Australia Cruises and New Zealand Highlights

The programme includes 17 Round Australia voyages, giving guests the opportunity to discover the country’s contrasting coastlines, from major cities to the remote landscapes of the Kimberley.

Wildlife experiences will also feature prominently, including the famous Penguin Parade on Phillip Island and opportunities to encounter kangaroos, koalas and Australian sea lions on Kangaroo Island.

In New Zealand, an expanded range of itineraries will explore both the North and South Islands, including scenic cruising through Fiordland National Park, renowned for its towering mountains, waterfalls and dramatic fjords.

South Pacific islands will also feature across the season, offering a combination of tropical scenery, beaches and cultural experiences.

More Choice and Time Ashore

Princess Cruises will offer departures from six ports: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth (Fremantle) and Auckland.

The programme also includes 11 late-night and overnight port calls, providing additional opportunities to explore destinations beyond the usual daytime visits.

With itineraries ranging from short cruises to extended voyages of up to 46 nights, guests can choose to explore one region in greater depth or combine several destinations in a longer holiday.
