Celebrity Apex was a beautiful ship and very tastefully furnished but we were extremely disappointed with the closed balcony .
One of our greatest pleasures on a cruise is sitting in the fresh air on our balcony and although the window glided down half way , it was not the same as a ‘proper ‘ balcony.
A waste of money and I felt we should have been told about this .
The cabin was quite small compared with other cabins on other cruises we have been on but the bathroom was spacious .
The staff and crew were very helpful .
But the food , although plentiful and varied , was bland .
The entertainment was a disappointment- the first show was fantastic and there was a good illusionist but apart from those 2 ,the shows were not of the standard we hoped for – single singers mainly.
Only 3 big shows on the 13 day cruise and we have seen so much better on other cruise lines .
