The cruise and destination were ok but we feel we have had better with other cruise lines.
Evening Theatre entertainment were very good, no talks to listen to.
Buffet food was ok and in the dining room.
Nice to have an hours ballroom dance a day for 5 days.
No quiet bars to meet people on the cruise.
Staff were very good, butler could have been better.
Cabin steward was very good and got more information from her than the butler ( karen )
No disembarkation letter was left we had to ask what was the process.
Waiters in the dining and bars were very helpful.
The retreat area seemed very noisy and sometimes not relaxing as we were expecting.
Cabin we expected a suite but we felt it was more like a bedsit.
Expected two rooms as with other suites on other cruise lines.
Bathroom suitable for one person at a time unlike other bathroom suites on other cruise lines.
Bathroom had a strange double tap sink but only one person could use it.
Suite balcony only has two chairs and no recliners with no room to fit them.
No coffee machine, our fruit turned up half way through the holiday.
No biscuits, sweets or ice in the suite as with others.
Soya milk did not get changed over the whole holiday.
Sent in a cup.
Could not see how the retreat offer was justifiably and spend on board would have been better for us.
Just not what we were expecting on the holiday for the money we paid £8k plus.
Regards
Stephen and Christina Ireland
Ps we have spent over £50k with bolsover
