We had hear so many good reports about the Celebrity cruises that we were really looking forward to getting on board, but when we did we found a number of aspects below the standards we would have expected.The stateroom had faults, ie curtains falling off rails, wardrobe doors hanging off, stained bath robes and the bed valence was holed and dirty.
The food in the main restaurantSan Marco, was below the standard that we had experienced on previous occasions.
I also object to the fact if you did not eat in the San Marco then the only other choice was the buffet, unless you paid a cover charge of up to $50 each.
Speaking to other guests they had similar opinions to ours.
The stars of the cruise were Captain Tasos and Rich the cruise director.
On a positive note the nightly entertainment was good and the communal areas very clean
