We have been on many cruises before but it was our first time on a celebrity one.
It was a special occasion for us so we looked into it carefully but were very disappointed and found that this cruise was all about money.
I always like fresh orange drink on a morning and was informed that there was a $5 charge for it.
Usually all shuttle buses are provided free but these was chargeable.
The excursion we booked to Rome was a disgrace as we were supposed to have been dropped off at St.
Petes Square but late on the evening before we were told that it wasn’t going to be possible as there was a demonstration in Rome and they were expecting large crowds so consequently we didn’t see anything of Rome.
They must of known th situation before the very last minute but of course it was too late for us to cancel this trip.
The entertanment was very poor not like what we have had before.
We had on board credit which was a laugh as the shops on board were disgraceful.
I don’t know who does the buying for them but when you are on a med cruise and all you see is things from Norway well that says it all.
We wwere given 2 small bars of soap on our arrival and had a hard job getting more.
Our cabin was not particularly clean and a tissue left on the balcony from previous people was never removed.
We had another cruise booked with celebrity for later on in the year which we have now cancelled loosing our deposit.
There are now many different cruise lines on the market so Celebrity better get their act together.
