This was our third time on Eclipse, but my first time travelling as a disabled passenger.
I cannot praise the staff enough for the care and consideration given to me at all times, be it getting off the ship, going for meals or anything else I required.
The doors on the stateroom were wide enough to take my mobility scooter in without dismantling it each time, but I was told by the housekeeping staff that I could always leave it outside in the corridor if it became a problem.
First class service I would say.
It was our first time freedom dining, and although we wondered how this would work out, it was excellent.
We went for our evening meal at about the same time every evening, and were served by Joseph, Danwantee, and their wine waiter who were all superb.
The food was excellent, as we have always found on Eclipse.
We went to the theatre every evening, and always found room at the back of the auditorium to sit on my mobility scooter, with my husband by my side.
A bit different from the last time on P.O Azura when we never got into the theatre, although getting there a good 40 minutes before the show.
!! If there was one negative it was the fact that the contract on the shows were in the process of change, and the shows were not so good as usual.
We have lost count of the number of cruises we have done, somewhere in the thirties, and Celebrity Eclipse comes very high on our favourite ships.
We wish there were more going out from Southampton, as we do not now wish to fly.
As always Bolsover made the whole procedure so simple, and were very helpful as usual.
