My wife and I were very impressed the moment we boarded the Eclipse. She is a stunningly beautiful ship and very well laid out This is our 3rd cruise with Celebrity and have enjoyed the previous 2 sailings. On the first cruise my wife loved one of the onboard entertainers Perry Grant and on finding that he was onboard for this cruise she was absolutely delighted. The balcony cabin was a very good size and very comfy. The food in the self service Ocean ViewCafewas of high quality and great variation for both breakfast and lunch. We always dined in the main dining room in the evening but were a little disappointed with the limited choices over the 10 night cruise and felt that the main courses were protein heavy with few vegetables, although still enjoying what we had.The entertainment in the theatre in the evenings was the best overall that we have experienced in our 20 plus cruises over the last 12 years. The first lady cruise director we have had Sue was exceptional too always chatting around the ship as well as being a comedienne and fine singer. Most of the passengers appeared to have a “drinks package”which meant most of the drinks were “free”.The upside of this is no messing around signing receipts for every drink, but the downside was that it was difficult to find a seat in many of the bars on the ship in the evening as they were always busy after 7.00pm.We will definitely be sailing on the Eclipse again next year and hopefully with Perry Grant an exceptional showman.Thank You Celebrity!
