1.An enjoyable but disappointing cruise relative to the many previous cruises undertaken.
As senior citizens we always pay extra to book a balcony stateroom so we have our own personal sun-spot available.(When the sun is on our side of the ship.) Disappointed to find that the majority of balcony cabins on Deck 9 of Celebrity Infinity only get sun for one hour after sunrise(we are still asleep) and for one hour before sunset(we have gone to bed).
This is because Deck 10 overhangs Deck 9 by some 20 feet putting Deck 9 balconies in the shade even when facing the sun.
This spoiled our holiday as the ship was full and we had to join the scramble for places on the open deck(often failing to find a vacant seat.
2.
Dress code not adhered to on formal nights despite the Maitre D being told about it twice.
If Celebrity have a formal night dress code they should ‘police’ it, otherwise it is an insult to those who adhere to the rules.
3.
Food in Dining room andCafeeria good but service somewhat lacking and choice rather restricted compared with other cruise ships.
4.
Stateroom service very good.
5.Entertainment – Dancers and choreography good – rest more akin to ‘Holiday Camp’ standard.
