Lovely cruise with a good itinerary although not much at Astoria or Monterey, Highlight was San Francisco.
The ship docked 50 yards from Alcatraz ferry so did independent tour which we booked through their website and it was excellent.
Had a few days in San Diego hotel, Hotel Indigo, which I would recommend.
