Excellent embarkation as usual.
Quick and easy on the ship by 11.15.
Cabin 9248 was next to 24-hour galley providing room service.
After 3 days we were moved to a balcony cabin and from then on we were relaxed and enjoyed our cruise.
Food very good as usual and the Lawn Grill steaks were the best I’ve ever had.
Book on board 2 for 1 deal and $30 pp specials.
Went 5 times.
As many steaks as you can eat.
Drinks package $910 which you had to do as they were charging $12 for a small bottle of beer.
As I don’t drink it was cheaper to book an inside cabin and then a drinks package for my husband.
Entertainment very good in all venues.
Ship cleanliness was 5 star.
Daily entertainment a bit repetitive but I think all cruise liners are.
2 helicopter rescues were made I hope the people were okay.
Only 17 children on the whole ship so I felt sorry for the kiddies.
Cabins kept superbly by the cabin boys.
$20 each for transfer from ship to Toulon centre everyone moaning this was madness $80 for a family of 4 to get out the port.
Come on Celebrity this should have been included in the fare.
Casino expensive and although quiet at first became busier later.
Shows were good and although I didn’t use the spa, I was told it was expensive but good.
Martini ice bar still the venue for pre-dinner drinks.
Muranos still the most popular speciality restaurant on board.
Le Petit Chef is the new one which is in the same place as Qsine.
3D dinner experience, food okay but wouldn’t do it twice.
Toulon was, in my opinion, the worse port, nothing to do in Toulon but get on a little white train that gave you a 15-minute journey to see everything, Napoleon.
Loved Barcelona with the Churros and melted hot chocolate and lots to do and see.
Went on the metro in Lisbon which was so clean and safe and would definitely use this again.
The little custard tarts were delicious.
So after a bumpy start Silhouette was a lovely ship to be on and would definitely go again.
Just need to save up first and remember not to book cabin 9248.
Well done Celebrity.
