Just spent a fabulous week in the Eastern Caribbean.
The Silhouette is a beautiful ship, spotless and staff worked very hard to keep high standards of hygiene.
Food was excellent, anything that didn’t meet expectations was swiftly replaced with an alternative.
Meat dishes were cooked to order and were delivered perfectly as requested.
We booked the classic drinks package for which there was plenty of choice and it was great being able to have pretty much anything we wanted when we wanted without having to sign each time and worry about racking up a big bill.
We booked a concierge state room which was plenty big enough for 3 adults, the balcony was used every day for a welcome G&T before dinner.
The interactive TV was great for viewing photos, ordering room service and monitoring our account as well as music, movies and keeping up with the news.
The bathroom was spacious including a decent sized shower with sliding screen – no irritating shower curtain to fight with.
Only minor niggles included no delivery of tote bags (part of our upgrade) as there is a shortage across the Celebrity fleet.
When we asked (several times) for an alternative gesture we were fobbed off initially but bags eventually turned up when we insisted (it became a point of principle as otherwise what was the point of us paying for the upgrade to concierge class).
Also we weren’t told we had to complete a form each day for afternoon canap??s to be delivered to our room as they simply turned up on day 1 but not day 2.
Anyway, minor issues only on what was a fabulous week.
