We have recently returned from a Baltic cruise including an overnight stop over in St Petersburg.
All the ports visited were as expected and we had fond memories of each, this added to glorious weather resulted in coming home with an unexpected tan.
Having cruised on this particular ship three years ago, we knew what we could expect as far as meals, service and cleanliness was concerned.
Despite being only six years old, the ship was beginning to show signs of wear & tear, especially in the Buffet area where every seat which was upholstered was badly worn on the corners.
I suspect this is as much a design flaw as the wrong material being used.
The meals were served hot and but when eating in the buffet, I would have welcomed more choice.
The only down side to the ship was the quality of entertainment, having experienced other cruise lines entertainment I would rate this as below Marella (Thomson) but above Royal Caribbean.
The resident entertainers were well below the standard I would expect on such a ship and the overall standard was what I would expect in a Working Mens Club, not a 5 Star ship.
