I was very upset prior to the cruise because I pre-booked St.
Petersburg trips.
As you had to book the tours, otherwise you couldn’t get off the ship.
In previous years, I pre-booked trips and they went onto my ship’s account and came off my on-board spending.
However, this year they changed the policy and I had to pay up front at the time of pre-booking the trip.
I was informed the policy change was at Christmas, but they didn’t tell any of the passengers.
This was a shock as I had not budgeted for this.
The ship was very good, as was the entire cruise experience.
The ports of call were great.
The only other thing that left a bitter taste was that we had money stolen out of our safe on 3 occasions when I forgot to lock it.
I didn’think that everything would be safe in my cabin, but obviously not.
