First time on Queen Elizabeth so we were comparing it with 2 previous Queen Victoria cruises plus other ships.
Spacious cabins with what must be the most comfortable beds at sea.
Staff everywhere were attentive and friendly.
Exceptionally clean (except for carpets in lift waiting areas!).
There did seem to be quite a few economic measures – birthday/anniversary cakes were charged for; almost everything in the Spa had a fee applicable; not enough care taken by ship’s photographers (there were faults on most of them) – obviously going for quantity and not quality sales.
Britannia restaurant dinners were very sparse on vegetables (though generous on meat).
As a vegetarian I found plenty of choice with very tasty meals but very small portions.
Service was very good.
Lido salads were unimaginative and repetitive but good choice of other things.
Appreciated hot and cold drinks always available.
Having had the above little moans, we had a wonderful holiday and would certainly sail on this ship again.
Bolsover were very efficient with our booking and putting right a problem we had with cabin location.
