This is the first cruise we have done other than with Fred Olsen cruises.
The ship was obviously a lot better than Olsen lines but it is only 3 years old so you would expect it to be better.
it was a lot quieter and smoother and the decor was better.
Everything looked newer but having said that the difference was not mind blowing.
The breakfast and lunches and afternoon snacks were very similar but we felt that we had a better choice of food for the evening meals with Olsen lines.
The standard of food was identical but the drinks more expensive on Cunard.
One or two disappointing things with Cunard, there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room and as this was a fly cruise, when we did an Olsen one we handed cases in at the airport and next saw them in our cabin, with Cunard we had to collect them at the airport and take them to a collection point, similarly on the way back with Olsen we put the cases out of our cabin at night and next saw them back in the UK, with Cunard we had to collect them at the dock, take then to the coach and check them in at the airport.
Stall on both ships very freindly and obliging, Overall a newer ship in better condition but other than that we slightly preferred the Olsen cruise.
