We were able to book a Princess Grill suite on deck 10 on the Queen Mary 2 for the period 02/05/23 to 07/05/23 as it was billed as a Coronation Special and special it was.
Everything was perfect.
We sailed from Southampton to Liverpool return and we saw the Coronation in the ship’s on-board planetarium.
Beforehand we attended a Country Fayre event followed by a wonderful afternoon tea.
We even met the captain.
On leaving Liverpool we enjoyed the fireworks on the quay.
There was a very special atmosphere on the ship.
